With travel restrictions and the need to keep social distancing, NEU Church Planting is moving our event with Sharon Dickons and Natasha Davidson to a Zoom webinar style where participants will certainly have the ability to participate in the conversations.

On Saturday, April 18th, NEU Church Planting is hosting Teaching What Is Good: A Mini-Conference on Ministries for Women in the Local Church. Local churches need to be places where women ministered to and also equipped to minister to others. Sharon Dickens and Natasha Davidson, both from 20schemes, bring experience from leading women's ministries in Scotland's urban poor neighborhoods.

Below in New England urban neighborhoods, the same need exists. Involve catch their vision for exactly how to offer the women in your local church. This is a women-only occasion and is limited to 25 participants to promote an interactive environment.

Speakers

• Sharon (Shaba) Dickens - Sharon has over 20 years of experience working in the community primarily with families and those who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness. Sharon has two grown children, both in full-time education. Sharon is the Director of Women’s Ministry with 20schemes and coordinates the UK office.

• Natasha (Tasha) Davidson - Tasha grew up in Niddrie and became a Christian through the witness of the church in 2012. She is well known in the community and is a gifted youth and children’s worker. In September 2014, Tasha took over as the Lead Children’s and Youth Worker. Now she leads all the church’s clubs and youth Bible studies.
